Where are the moments in your life where you have felt God show up? And what did you do to capture that moment- to respond to God’s presence? As we continue exploring the life of Abram and his journey in Genesis 12, we learn that Abram acknowledged God’s presence, and he built an alter to honor the Lord. While we may not be guided to new lands like Abram, God’s presence is around us each day and it’s up to us to recognize it and invite Him into our lives. This message reminds us not to get so distracted with life that we don’t allow ourselves to fully let God in. Through celebrations and sorrow- good times and bad- we are encouraged to magnify God, acknowledge his presence and praise him always.
