This week’s message was such a blessing, as we received two powerful messages in one. Pastor Will shared what the Bible says about baptism, as the congregation prepares for our upcoming Baptism and Dedication Sunday. And then we continued meditating on Genesis 12, as Abram worshiped God out of faith at each new place he was led. We are reminded that we often dwell on times when we may not sense God’s presence, which increases our doubts and anxieties. But focusing on the times we feel God’s presence will help us increase our faith. We are encouraged to dump the bucket of complaining, doubt, and worries; and instead, fill it with praises and faith in God!
As we continue learning what it means to go All In, we are encouraged by Abram’s story to worship God the way He is leading us-not necessarily the way we see others worshiping. We are challenged this week to reflect on our personal time with God and to discover ways we can spend personal time with Him each day.
