The Work of the Flesh v. The Fruit of the Spirit Part V

This week, Pastor Will continued preaching in Galatians 5 for Part 5 of The Work of the Flesh vs. The Fruit of the Spirit. He emphasized that inheriting the Kingdom of God means living life according to God's way, not our own standards. We are reminded that the Holy Spirit is actively working within us to cultivate the fruit of the Spirit but only when we surrender fully to Christ. Rather than striving to be "good," we must allow the Spirit to heal our wounds and break through the limits we’ve placed on ourselves. The sins of our flesh consumes space in us; and when we break free from it, healing is needed to fill the void. We must allow the Holy Spirit to toil the grounds of our pain and trauma so that transformation can take root.

Pastor Will challenged us to reflect: Are you being held back by the Spirit’s timing- or by your own flesh, fears, and inner battles?
