Are you stepping into God’s presence each time you worship? Or are you distracted by your own mental blocks, going through the motions of singing, reading, and praying? God gave us His son, His Word, His Holy Spirit, and His angels to enable us to grow closer to Him; but we don’t always use everything that God has made available to us to help us draw nearer to Him. This week, Pastor Will spoke about going a little further than we are used to- taking the next step spiritually- to step into the place where the Holy Spirit is leading us.
As we lean into doing things On Purpose to grow with God, we recognize that we are fighting a different spiritual battle than we once did; we must pray different, read the Word different, and worship different. There is a battle in the spiritual realm over your soul, but you are never alone. Keep seeking Him.
