What areas of our lives is the Holy Spirit wanting to flow through, but we have it on lockdown? This week, we look to Paul’s letter in 2 Corinthians as we reflect on our own battles. We look at what it means to be gentle and meek- having the ability to do something but choosing not to on purpose- as we consider the thing God is asking we hold off on doing/saying. We are reminded that just because we can, doesn’t mean that we should. Instead, ask if it is pleasing in His sight or interfering with your relationship with God?
This week, we are challenged to pray over the one thing you cannot seem to let go of- whether it is pleasing or interfering with your relationship with God- and then do something about it. As we continue growing closer to God on purpose, we are urged to lean on the Holy Spirit more than our own flesh.
